However, again, there's not much in the teaser that points to Elsweyr.

There are a whole host of different Khajiit breeds and a unique culture that would be incredibly distinct for an RPG in the modern-day, much as Morrowind was in the early 2000s. Home to the Khajiit, Elsweyr is a desert filled with temples where worship to the two moons is held. However, it could be misdirection - we could even be visiting more than one province - so it's impossible to rule it out entirely right now. We've seen a lot of Valenwood in The Elder Scrolls Online where it's dominated by swamps and forests, completely juxtaposing what the teaser showed us. Nothing official has launched aside from the mobile game Blades and the now-defunct card game Legends, but there's still information out there to pry from the seams. Meanwhile, fans are chugging away to remake Oblivion and Morrowind while another dedicated team brought Daggerfall to the Unity engine. In the interim, we've had The Elder Scrolls Online launch, rebranded, and updated with a slew of DLC making almost all of Tamriel explorable.
